Chess in Schools Program
OLCC provides instructors for schools to teach
fundamental chess principles and educational values
earned through chess. Classes focus on chess
fundamentals while incorporating lessons on critical
thinking, planning, and logic. The students are also
encouraged to demonstrate good sportsmanship and
to strive for success in the classroom as well as over
the chessboard.

Class Formats
- Maximum of 16 students per class
- Each class session is designed for one hour of instruction and practice
